She would make one for everyone to eat and a separate hidden one for me to take home. When she passed away, I thought her recipe was lost forever because it wasn’t in her recipe book.
One day my cousin posted a comment about the recipe and sure enough, she had it. I was so thrilled! I made it this past Christmas and it was exactly how my momma used to make it. It may be a simple recipe, but it was the love she put into making it that made it worth the name, Million Dollar Pie.
You really can’t ask for an easier recipe. There isn’t any baking and most you have to do is mix everything together and refrigerate. For me, this simple recipe brings back so many fond memories of my momma, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
