The Fall Festival at Denver Downs Farm in Anderson, SC

Fall Family Fun at Denver Downs Farm in Anderson SC

To celebrate the Fall, you should always find a Fall festival to visit like Denver Downs Farm in Anderson, South Carolina. Denver Downs is a family owned and operated farm that has been open since 1869. The farm has changed over the years from being a cotton farm to a dairy farm to now being an agritourism working farm. That’s means plenty of farm fun and entertainment for visitors.

As you can see from the map, there are plenty of activities to explore but I am only going to share a few. Just as a word of advice ~ plan on getting a little dirty because this is a farm and there is dirt.

First thing that we wanted to do is explore the huge corn maze! There are 12 informational stops within the maze, and you can actually use your phone to guide you through to each stop. It’s a lot of fun and a lot of walking.

Next up is visiting the farm animals which included a couple of mini ponies and boss hog. It was the largest hog I had ever seen in real life.

Get ready for the Pigtucky Derby! There is a prerace show to get the audience excited before the actual race begins.

There are even more activities to explore like the barrel roll, zip lining, and an obstacle course. For an additional cost, you can also experience gem mining at the farm.

The last activity I am going to share with you is the huge slide that you use an intertube to slide down on.

There were so many activities that I don’t think we had a chance to try them all out, but we did have a great time while we were there. There are places to get food, drinks, pumpkins, flowers and a souvenir or two to take with you. If you are looking for some fall family fun, I totally recommend putting it on your bucket list. Although the 2022 season is closed, you can always plan for next year by visiting: Fall Fun – Denver Downs Farm.
